At your request, I'm sending you this special alert.

On October 17, Kasel Associated Industries announced a voluntary recall of some of its pig ears and dog treats due to possible contamination with Salmonella bacteria.

We have some sleepy puppies this morning, but we also have some "open eyes"!  Everyone is right on schedule and doing great - sorry no picture -- trying to rush to work.  Had to share the news ~ have a great day -- Lois

Look who found her home!

Aretha has found her home & her new name!

Her new call name is Molly --Molly Lady Cerise  -- we have learned that Cerise means Cherry in French -- the white dog in the picture is her new big sister, Sasha.  The redish dog is part of the family too -- Excited for everyone (P.S. - she has her own song "Molly Malone"! 

They're one week old already!

We're planning on taking the official "one week" old pictures tomorrow night and will post them on Saturday.  I'm sorry to disappoint anyone thinking they would be ready today.  It's just too much to try get the photos taken and posted on a week night.  I get home about five - finish up supper - (you know the drill) - my dishes await me as I type.

Our computer says it is 6:20 p.m. right now - that means all the pups are officially one week old.  I don't think I shared their birth times but will remedy that now:

Chuck Berry (Bruce) 1:50 p.m.
Marvin Gaye (Cosmos) 2:15 p.m.
Patti Labelle (Zoe) 2:46 p.m.
Diana Ross (Lucy) 3:00 p.m.

then a long break . . .

Aretha Franklin 6:00 p.m.
Little Richard (Bogart) 6:02

No, that's not a typo for Little Richard; he was right behind his sister.  We were cleaning Aretha up, and Bogart had arrived! 

1st Come Love - then comes marriage --

This handsome couple belongs to a friend of a friend- of a friend.  That bride's little face is just perfect.  I bet whoever it taking the picture has someone standing beside them holding a "very good treat" to get that attention --

 

Of course, our little Cherry skipped the wedding and went for the baby carriage!  Pups are snug in their box this morning - they are getting so chubby - a week ago I was still trying to guess who many she was going to have - Actually, I guessed correctly.

My suggestion . . .

Get a bigger bed!
