We had a nice e-mail from Lexie - this is her "toy" basket, but it seems she likes to take the toys out and lie in it!  I don't think she is as anxious to put the toys back ~~ Love you -Lex

Family Reunion

We had a great family reunion today.  I'm holding Clark and Candy (Mercedes/Llinger pups) and Tammy is holding Birdie/Charlie's pup.  They have changed so much since we last saw them.  I think they would have rather played in the snow then had their pictures taken, but it was a fun day!

Why Micro-Chips are a good thing

You probably know that all of my dogs are "chipped", and I recommend that for anyone who owns a dog.

A couple who attend Cherry's "Beyond the Basics" puppy class found and rescued a dog who appeared to be very thin and homeless on their property. . . .  it turns out the Boxer they found is owned by Pittsburgh campers (probably 60-70 miles away) who lost him June 2011 and had given up hope.

Bob & Tracy found his owners via his ID "chip" - they were re-united and celebrated Christmas together.  The dog formerly weighed 90 lbs but lost almost 1/2 of his body weight - but he gained two heros!  Happy Ending!!

She has become the newest Sweater model of the season - everyone wanted a sweater just like this one!

She's the perfect puppy to hold for story time . . .

And last - but not least -- she is the official dishwasher inspector - a cocker's work is never done!
