I want them to stay with me at least until the next day - just in case someone has a reaction. This absolutely should not happen. Years ago everyone gave puppy shots at 6 weeks of age. Now, the protocol (atleast mine and my vet) is to wait as close to 8 weeks of age as possible. This gives their little bodies a chance to mature more. I was watching Animal Planet on t.v. last week and was horrified to hear of pups getting their shots at 4 weeks - cannot imagine it.
This means I can let pups go on November 30th (Friday) if that fits your schedule better. It would have to be after 1:00 p.m. (I only have 1/2 vacation day left for the year).
I am willing to drive and meet anyone who needs me to with their puppy. Of course, Cherry would come along too -- I am hesitant to offer this - I don't want anyone to feel I have something to hide here other than a messy house!
Additional Information:
We are currently feeding Purina Pro Chicken/Rice (available at Pet stores and Tractor Suppy -- not your grocery store) -- you can feed your pup whatever you like - I recommend a high-end puppy food. If you are changing, I will send puppy food home with you so that you can change their diet slowly.
Puppies were wormed at (Vetinarinarians' Association Guidelines)
